Collaborated with a multitude of community and non profit groups along with countless residents to organize against the I-70 rebuild and advocate for community rights and resident voices to have a place in informing the process.
2018-2019
3 board members contracted with Groundwork Denver in partnership with National Jewish Hospital to become Air Quality Community Experts, Develop bi-lingual educational flyers on Air Quality, organize, host and attend multiple events to distribute the information and study results to community members
Jan 2019
Organized and hosted a community open forum at the Globeville Rec (Birdseed Collective) to bring candidates running for area state and city offices for the GES area to the neighborhood to engage with the community in a Q&A style format.

Hosted Latin Fest a community celebration with informational tables from 10+ organizations in partnership with GlobeHall
Nov 2019
Awarded a PS U Are Here Public art Grant from Denver Public art, to beautify a neglected public area in the neighborhood with local art
2019-2020
Worked with NETC and the Stapleton Foundation to staff and develop a successful format for a community shuttle “last mile connector" program for residents and workers in GES and North Park Hill in an attempt to offset the transportation and access disruptions caused by the I-70 build and COVID shut downs.
April 2021
Organized and led an Earth Day celebration and clean up at Garden Place Academy with support from CDOT, KIEWIT, and the Sierra Club where we repainted the playgound, added community artwork, and spring clean of the community garden with volunteer labor.
May 2021
We were awarded, in partnership with PurpleAir, one of the smaller grants from the Suncor Settlement, to perform a deep clean of 3 neighborhood schools and the Valdez-Perry Library, recruit and hire residents to staff the project, and install continuous air quality monitoring stations at each of the 4 locations.
June 2021
Partnered with the Globeville Riverfront Art Center (GRACe) to support their event and the featured local artists by organizing, collecting donations, and staffing a nonprofit bar as a fundraiser.
March 2022
Hosted Latin Fest at GlobeHall with presentations on proposals from developers for community feedback, informational community resource tables, and brief presentations by fellow residents on their current environmental initiatives.
