Through the RISE program, 100 households will receive training every year that covers creating Resilient Homes - Creating climate-adapted housing solutions, building financial resilience through homeownership, implementing protective measures against environmental hazards and developing emergency preparedness strategies; Investment in Future - Financial education and wealth building, long-term property value protection, green home improvements, career development in sustainable industries; Sustainable Living - Transition to electric appliances, energy efficiency education, reduced utility costs, health home environments; Environmental Action – Education in community-wide pollution reduction, and collective climate impact, referrals to Green Workforce development program, developing a personal Climate Action Plan, and education on sustainable neighborhood initiatives.
